Veterans Benefit Seminar Thursday June 23rd 8:30am

Dear Veterans,

I am writing on behalf of Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory to invite you to attend a Veterans Services Seminar, which will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Farmingdale State College. In an effort to ensure our veterans are receiving all of the benefits they are deserving of and entitled to, this seminar will bring together government agencies, nonprofit organizations, advocates, veterans and their families to exchange information about the broad range of services, benefits and assistance available to veterans in our community.

8:30 am -2:00 pm
Farmingdale State College—Gleeson Hall
2350 Broadhollow Road, Farmingdale

The program will begin at 8:30 am with breakfast and networking. Presentations will start at 9:00 am in the auditorium, followed by two breakout sessions and then lunch/networking from 1-2 pm.

Presentations will address several specific topics, including Compensation & Pension Benefits, Health Benefits, PTSD support, Military Sexual Trauma, Women/Minority assistance services, Home Loan Guaranty Services, Education Benefits, Board of Veterans Appeals, Life Insurance Program, Burial & Memorial Benefits, Vocational Rehab, Employment Services and more.
