Dear Mr. O'Neill,
In observance of Veteran's Day 2018, Temple Israel of Lawrence will be hosting two very special events: "An Evening with Colonel Jack Jacobs, Medal of Honor Recipient," on October 30 and the film "True Honor", which tells the story of Jewish Medal of Honor recipients, on November 11, Veterans Day (please see enclosed flyers).
We realize both events are a few months away, however we are contacting you now in the hopes you will save the dates, as well as inform the members of the American Legion Post.
Both of these events are special, in particular the "Evening with Colonel Jack Jacobs," - how often do you get the opportunity to hear and meet a Medal of Honor Recipient?
