Salute to Veterans 2018

Dear Reader,

The following document is a letter from the Nassau County Veterans Service Agency to all County and Post Commanders.

To all County and Post Commanders:

On Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., we will be celebrating the 31th Anniversary of our Salute to Veterans at Eisenhower Park; parking field #6.

I am requesting all County Councils and Posts to participate in our Color Guard ceremony. Please limit all color guards to a maximum of (4) members and have them arrive by 6:00 p.m.

This year we will be dedicating the program to all military and veterans who have served in the Global War on Terrorism.

Once again, we will have a guest speaker from the Veterans community to speak on behalf of military service. And we will honor our distinguished service to veterans nominees.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, "Voices of Veterans" and "Desert Highway" (Eagles Tribute Band); will be performing for all in attendance.
